'Stolen Honor' - the film - and the Hysterical Left© by Gerald L. Atkinson Copyright 31 October 2004
I recently downloaded from the Internet and viewed the 42-minute film, 'Stolen Honor.' It is a tremendously moving film. The Kerry campaign has essentially 'banned' this film from public view by threats of lawsuits and other attacks on stockholders and producers of Sinclair Broadcast Corporation, which had planned to distribute it across the nation this week. Their film, which they had planned to open this week in the small number of Sinclair Broadcast television stations across the country, is now available on the Internet - FREE. You only need to have Real Player or Media Player software, now resident on nearly all PC and Macintosh computers to watch it.
See why the Kerry campaign is doing everything possible to keep America from seeing this film. It is a damning indictment of John Kerry and his anti-war activities in 1971 with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. It gives visual and spoken testimony by our former Vietnam War POWs, highly decorated combat veterans - some who have been awarded the nation's highest medal, the Medal of Honor -- of the damage done to them and all veterans who fought in that war by John Kerry's anti-war activities.
Given that the national broadcast media will not air the film, the only way you can see it is to purchase it in DVD format from Amazon.com or a few other outlets - but too late to be viewed before election day. You can, however, now download this film and view it FREE at the Web Site (you are now only one or two 'clicks' away from the truth about John Kerry):

Please watch this moving testimony by those (Bud Day, Robbie Risner, Paul Galanti, and others) who have suffered at the hands of a brutal enemy and at the hands of John Kerry and his faux 'band of brothers.' Conscientious American citizens must see this film before casting a vote for president on 2 November. The torture our POWs endured, both physical and psychological, is starkly portrayed with candor and quiet moral power.
A John Kerry surrogate 'Loses It' in Debate with John E. O'Neill Lawrence O'Donnell and John O'Neill appeared on the MSNBC television show - Joe Scarborough Country -- on Friday, 22 October. Pat Buchanan substituted for Joe Scarborough as host. In a 12-minute segment, questions arising from O'Neill's best-selling book, 'Unfit for Command,' were addressed.
O'Donnell is a Senior Political Analyst for MSNBC and a panelist on 'The McLaughlin Group.' He is a media icon for the 'elites' of the 'counter-culture' revolutionaries. He is an Emmy-winning producer and writer of NBC's 'The West Wing,' a Clinton-friendly television saga which ushered in the New Age political ideology of the Clintons during their co-presidency. Though he clearly espouses the liberal Left ideology, he is usually composed, thoughtful, and polite in his public role - until his appearance on 'Scarborough Country.'
John O'Neill is a decorated Vietnam War veteran who is the spokesman for the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth, a group which opposes the candidacy of John Kerry in his run for the presidency. He co-authored 'Unfit for Command' and has defended it against all of its Kerry-campaign critics. It is noteworthy that John Kerry has not responded to the charges in the book, but has sent political surrogates to carry out ad hominem attacks on the authors and the 250 or so Swift Vote Veterans who back O'Neill.
During the debate O'Donnell completely lost his composure, shouting epithets at O'Neill while attempting to keep O'Neill from providing his calm, measured, factual answers to the questions posed by the host. As the 12-minute segment progressed, it was clear that O'Donnell had nothing of substance to back up his charge of 'liar,' 'lies,' 'dirty liar,' and 'all lies.' He shouted over both the host, Buchanan, and O'Neil in continuous attempts to disrupt the dialogue and drown out by vocal force any attempts by O'Neil to provide his factual evidence in a logical manner and tone.
O'Donnell, a Harvard graduate, did not serve his country during the 1960s, although he was of draft age. O'Donnell's belligerent, disrespectful, and contemptuous behavior toward O'Neill (a combat veteran) is precisely the same as that of his companion cultural Marxists who spat upon our combat troops as they disembarked from their transports, airliners, and busses on return from the combat zone in Vietnam to an America which had been (in John Kerry's own words) "turned against that war" by John Kerry and his Vietnam Veterans Against the War. Taunts of 'baby killers,' 'war criminal,' and worse were hurled at our young men as they returned home from the combat zone. This left an indelible, lasting impression on those returnees.
The problem with John Kerry is not about the past, however. It is that, eventually, he will generate the very same public contempt for the young warriors who are valiantly fighting the war in Iraq. He will not only betray them - as he did us in Vietnam - but will again betray America as he did in 1971 by leading the anti-war effort upon his return from his 4-month combat tour.
This election cycle is witnessing the depth of the hatred the 'elites' of the Boomer generation have for our military and the America given to us by our Founding Fathers. They are now facing the specter of their beloved 'counter-culture' revolution collapsing into the chasm of dark irrelevance with the re-election of George W. Bush.
The two pillars of the very soul of the 'elite' Boomers - of whom Lawrence O'Donnell is the media icon -- are civil rights and their opposition to the Vietnam War. Their very being is founded on those two pillars. The fact is that the civil rights movement has morphed into an impossible fantasy of preferences for 'minorities' of every stripe based on alienation which will eventually lead to the imposition of socialism on its way to a new totalitarianism.
The second pillar of their 'counter-culture' revolution is under direct attack by Vietnam War veterans who have waited over three decades to be heard. Lawrence O'Donnell represents John Kerry and his other surrogates who have built their very existence on the 'rightness' of their opposition to the Vietnam War. John Kerry's presidential campaign is under attack by those of us who fought in that war, came home to a hostile demonstrations by anti-war activists and are taking the opportunity presented by John Kerry's run for the presidency to tell the truth about that war. The truth is -- we won the war militarily, on the ground and in the air, but John Kerry and his ilk turned America toward a political surrender to Ho Chi Minh and his communist allies.
I remember vividly our return from a year's combat in the skies over North Vietnam in 1966. After being shot at every other day or so for nearly a year, we were flown back home via commercial airlines so we could be reunited with our families earlier than the ship's journey would allow. We were ordered to wear our civilian clothes rather than our Navy uniforms because of the sensitivity of the military to the growing violent resistence to the war back home. There were only about 20 of us on the airliner filled with civilian passengers. We were seated randomly among them. As the airplane reached the coastline of the West Coast, a wild, roaring cheer arose from 20 or so throats -- warriors celebrating their return to safety, their families, and the land that we loved. The civilians passengers had not a clue as to why we celebrated, nor did they appear to care.
A few years later, while attending the University of Michigan to obtain an advanced degree, I experienced an even worse example of disregard for those who fought in that war. Fires raged at the NROTC building, administrators' offices were taken by force, violent anti-war demnstrations were commonplace. And we again were ordered to not wear our uniforms on campus for fear of personal attack. John Kerry's anti-war forces had accomplished their agenda. They turned America against the military. They turned America against the war. They turned Congress against funding the South Vietnamese defense of their country. They betrayed our South Vietnamese allies - millions of whom were murdered, sent to re-education camps, or fled the communist takeover in 1975. And, now, they will do it again with respect to the War on Jihadistan.
John Kerry has, unknowingly, done a good thing in this election cycle. He has energized those of us who have not had a chance to give our side of the story of the Vietnam War. Finally, now, after three decades, we have been given our opportunity to speak out on a national level - through the Internet, since the mass media is not available to us. This film tells our story. Please download and watch the film, 'Stolen Honor' and listen to the audio segments below of the MSNB Scarborough Country below and give them some thought before casting your vote.
We stifled our anger, continued with our lives, and made our positive contributions. But we have not given up the fight.
At the hyperlinks below, are two segments of a audio recording (in mp3 format), playable on most all computers which have either Real Player or Media Player software. These two segments provide the entire 12-minute segment which covered the 'debate.' Please download these two audio strips to give you an example of the tyranny and loss of our freedom of speech that would result from a John Kerry presidency. The audio streams can be downloaded at the hyperlinks:

Please download this disgraceful outburst by a surrogate for John Kerry. It reveals the contempt which they hold for our military service veterans - and for free speech in America. And pass these hyperlinks on to anyone you know who will vote in the upcoming election.
